- Anti-Ragging committee was formed in the institution in 1997.
- The committee plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, especially newcomers.
- Its main objective is to eliminate any form of physical, psychological, or verbal abuse among students and to spread awareness about the consequences of ragging. The committee strictly enforces anti-ragging laws and regulations and promotes healthy peer interactions.
Functions of the Anti-Ragging Committee:
- Monitor and ensure that no ragging activities take place within the campus or hostels.
- Spread awareness about the harmful effects of ragging through campaigns, orientations, and notices.
- Receive and investigate complaints related to ragging promptly and confidentially.
- Take strict disciplinary action against those found guilty, in line with institutional and legal provisions.
- Support and counsel victims of ragging.
